When
I looked at this recipe, all I saw was a bowl full of mushrooms. I Don’t mind mushroom soup in recipes,
but I really dislike the texture of the shrooms in my mouth. The recipe
actually sounds good, probably
because she is cooking with burgundy wine, but I bet the dill makes them taste amazing,
I absolutely love the taste of dill. My recent dill fix came from a dill cheese
from the Farmers Market. This recipe sounds good, but it’s just not for me.
Special Event: Shopping for Clothes
If there is one thing in the world that I
hate to do it is shop for clothing. During the second week in August I had to
bite the bullet and go shopping as most of my clothes don’t fit at all. Now,
this is a really good thing, except that means I have to go and try on clothes
for hours. YUK!!! I have a lot of
friends who adore shopping, but I would rather put my hand in blender than
shop.
I
went to the Outlet Mall since it is right by my house (and I have never been
there before). At the first store, I found several tops, shrugs, and a jean
jacket. Yee Ha! I had a big bag. Now, on to the next store. The next store
specialized in dresses, which is what I prefer to wear to school. I found a
whopping one dress. That’s it – just one. I did find some other tops but left
unhappy. I returned home and looked through some catalogs and ordered a few
dresses. After I cleaned out my closet I did find some smaller size dresses
that were brand new and never worn. So I was doing okay. Then I realized I was
just shopping for clothes for now until December. So, I decided to take in some
of my old dresses. (I know you hate this thought, Jenny). I had to do some
serious alterations as I am down three sizes on top and two sizes on the
bottom. Thank Heavens, I can avoid
shopping until the winter.
