Thanksgiving Panini

I have no idea about the
calories because it was a spoonful here and there.
I had this dish for
dinner. It was like a mini Thanksgiving in a sammy. I stacked it so high that
it tilted as it cooked. I rarely mix my food, but I liked all of the flavors
hitting me at the same time. I used her Basic Thanksgiving Dressing on this
Panini, but I think I would have preferred the sausage apple better. The best
stuffing I have ever had is a tie between my Grandmother’s sage dressing and
Donna Dowd’s amazing one. I ate the leftover Dowd dressing for lunch, or this
would have made the ultimate fabulous sandwich.
If you look closely you can see all of Thanksgiving dishes |
Unfortunately, the Panini Maker made it lean and ooze. It sure tasted like a million bucks |

Why Weight?
Last week, I wrote an entry and today I
have really nothing to say. This is because I just weighed myself after two
weeks of not writing down my weight, or going to Curves, or counting my steps
with my FitBit. Basically, I gave myself some time off from dwelling on this
weight loss business. I found out
that I am okay. I survived the
Thanksgiving and conference weeks and still lost 0.5 of a pound. Maybe, there
is hope in the world.
Goal: 65.8 lbs. (100
lb. loss between 6/1/14 – 6/1/15)
+ 0.5 lbs. this two week’s loss
65.3 lbs. lbs to go
After
constantly writing everything down, and being focused on it, I can say that
this is a relief.
Wants and Wishes
I
want to remember to enjoy the Christmas lights that I saw so many people
putting up on Saturday and Sunday. I don’t want to just drive home every night.
I plan to take different routes and enjoy all off the lights and decorations
that people have put up, and enjoy the spirit of the season.
