These are amazing potatoes. The
spices make them wonderful. These little potatoes are darn cute and wonderful.
I have never cooked with these little guys before. They are definitely a side
dish in this girl’s future.
Fabulous “Family and Friends” Food
Joan Dougherty’s Lasagna
Ingredients:
2 lbs.
ground beef
½
teasp. oregano
1 pint
cottage cheese
¼ lb.
mozzarella cheese
garlic
salt
salt
1 (12
oz.) can tomato paste
1
small onion
6
lasagna noodles
2 eggs
¼ c.
Parmesan cheese (grated)
pepper
Directions:
Brown
the onion, beef, oregano, garlic salt, pepper and salt. Then add the tomato
paste, 1.5 cups hot water. Simmer for 15 minutes. Set aside. Cook lasagna
noodles and then rinse with cool water. Beat eggs and mix with 1 pint drained
cottage cheese. Put thin layer of meat sauce, then ½ of the noodles, all of the
cottage cheese mixture, then mozzarella cheese, then grated Parmesan cheese,
then noodles, then sauce, and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool 10 minutes before cutting.
