I figured out that there are
160 calories per serving, if 42 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie
counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to
use.)
I love these
biscuits. Of course, I would spread them with butter to make them over the top.
I did pour some butter over the top and add more chives to the top, but you can
never have too much butter, can you? I love cheddar cheese and chives, and
these are really worth the short time it took to create them. I had one for lunch and one for dinner.
At only 160 calories – they are a great yummy snack.
I hand grated the white cheddar |
I mixed the rest of the ingredients in the food processor |
I used a large scoop to place the batter on a Silpat sheet to prevent sticking |
They look rough, but taste oh so good! |
The final product! |
Gabbin’ About Gratitude
I
am so thankful for my ability to read. One of the greatest pleasures that I
have, is getting lost in a good book! I am in love with my Kindle because it
can adjust to my changing vision and I can check books out on it from the
library. Kindle books from Amazon
are also cheaper than a paper book, and they don’t take up the space.
Memory Musings
One
of the joys in my life was playing tennis. I began playing tennis in college. I
loved the game and joined several leagues. One league I joined had me playing
singles and doubles tennis in Plano. I met a lot of friends. This was
definitely a competitive league, and every game counted. I met my doubles
partner, Al, in this league. It was run by a woman named Joyce, who was quite
efficient. I haven’t played tennis in a long time.
