What the Beck???
Putting together this tree took about four hours, because
every branch has to be separated to make it look realistic.
Maddie, remember how fun it was to construct?
I haven't put this tree up in six years, because I hated to
waste a minute of Christmas break putting it
up and taking it down. Now that I am retired,
I am going to enjoy my tree and the decorating.
Now, the task is to sort through all of
my Christmas "stuff" and keep and donate it.
I also had the fence repaired and replaced all of
the brass light fixtures in the house.
Jenny, this one is so much better than the old one,
but I will miss the bling.
I also added two canned lights above the
fireplace, and replaced the old smoke
alarms with new ones that are both
smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
My house is now really bright!
Did you know that the units are only good for
10 years?? Mine were 17 years old. Yikes!
Today, was a slow day. I took the dogs to the groomer, and ran a lot of errands. Unfortunately, I messed up my computer again,
and owe a giant thanks to Joe Sortino who came over tonight, so I could get this blog out. He is my life saver! He also brought up all of the rubbermaids that contained the Christmas decorations from the basement.
