I figured out that there are
686 calories, if 6 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary
depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)
I love breakfast for
dinner! I love quesadillas at any
time of day. This one is so wonderful, but for me that is because of the bacon,
cheese and AVOCADOS!!!! Yeah for
avocados!!!!
Last night, I was
sharing my newfound love for new foods, and it is all due to Ree Drummond’s
cookbooks. I am so blessed to have
seen the movie Julie/Julia, which started me on this journey. Ree’s books are so
amazing, and I lucked out when I made her my Julia Child.
Here are the ingredients that I used to create this recipe.
I began by frying up the bacon
Cut up the veggies: jalapeno, red onion, and red bell pepper
Now, it was time to cook'em up in the skillet.
Mix up the egg mixture
Begin to build the quesadilla. Cheese - yeah!
Bacon - Yeah! Eggs - Yeah!!
Avocado Yippy Ki Oh Ki Aye!!!!!!
Lots of scrumptious cheese!!
On go the veggies!!
This is a skyscraper of wonderfulness!
On goes the top tortilla
Cook both sides until golden.
Look at the tower oozing out the sides.
The final product.
I actually ate half of it for lunch,
and saved the second half for dinner.
It was fabuloso!
