What the Beck???
A 90th birthday for Aunt Doris!
Aunt Doris is in green!!
Bottom: Aunt Doris, Aunt Marge, Mom
Back: Tom Lindholm, Uncle Gene
Here are the ingredients that I used to create this recipe
I mixed the ingredients in a plate big enough
to use for dipping the croissants.
I only made enough for one serving.
Everything looked iridescent
I cut the croissant in half.
It's just beautiful!
I whisked all of the ingredients together,
and dipped the bread.
They browned up nicely
Calorie wise - I only allowed myself 1/4 of a cup
of syrup, but you should add however much you need.
It was just enough, by the way.

Recipe Review
Today’s
Recipe and Location: Croissant French
Toast
Found in: The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Dinnertime
Pages: 13 - 15 Copyright: 2015 Harper Collins OR
I figured out that there are
313 calories, if 8 servings are
made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the
specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)
I absolutely love
croissants, but imagine how wonderful a buttery croissant would be in French
toast. This is a decadent recipe that would be a showstopper on a buffet table OR on your breakfast table.

Nextdoor Savannah
My
neighborhood has a website to share information for our neighborhood as well as
several around us. I love this,
because I keep up on what is going on in the area. I signed up to have it sent daily to my email, so I don’t
have to remember to check it out. We share questions, ask for recommendations,
get warnings about crime and wild animals, as well as give updates about
political issues that effect our subdivision, and more.
I
am writing this in January, so here are some of the topics on the site on the
day that I wrote this entry.
The
titles were:
Hawk
trapped in gazebo
Lunchbox
left on the bus
Interior
painter recommendation?
Loose
white dog in the subdivision
Looking
for a great butcher
Window
replacement recommendation?
Mailbox
damaged. Anyone else?
Looking
for an orthopedic surgeon
You
never know what will be posted. I
love having current information.
