What the Beck???
Drop biscuits are a cinch! You mix all of
the ingredients together and plop them onto
the cookie sheet. They should be rough-looking.
Here are the ingredients that I used to create the gravy.
I forgot to take the "as you go" photos. So here are my steps.
I cooked the sausage, reduced the heat and sprinkled on the
flour. I poured in the milk and constantly stirred it. I
added in a little more milk when it got too thick. I then,
added in the salt and pepper and let it cook.
This is a double recipe, because I was feeding the entire
working veterinary staff. FUN FACT TO KNOW AND
SHARE: I have made this ahead and served it the next day.
A good make ahead holiday recipe.

I
figured out that there are 374 calories, for 1 biscuit and 3 ounces of gravy. (Please note that the calorie
counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to
use.)
I
also made breakfast for the veterinary staff that day. I love this recipe. You should really think about making
this over the holidays. It is a hearty, rich breakfast, and is really
appreciated by all. It really isn’t
hard at all. I swear!!
