What the Beck???
The Joy of Having a Home Painted
This is a photo of the front of the guest cottage
where I am currently residing.
Of course, this photo was taken when it
was a "man cave."
I really disliked the Easter egg green paint.
This is the same view after I had it painted.
A big thank you to my sister, Kim, and my Mom
who helped me select the fabulous gray paint.
Doesn't my huge painting look good with the furniture?
I loved the flagpole that was in the front yard before
I bought my new home. This is great flagpole.
I talked to the previous owner who gave me
http://www.uncommonflagpoles.com/the-original-telescoping-flagpole.html
The new flagpole is put together in sections and condenses into
itself making it easy to put up or take down the flag.
I proudly display this flag that was given to me by
Matthew, my nephew, when he returned from
Afganistan.
The flat object on top of the pole was an
additional purchase. I ordered a solar light, from
the same company that attaches to the pole and
the flag and insures that the flag is always lit
at night. By attaching it to the flag, the light
is always directly over the flag, otherwise
the light could spin around and totally miss
the flag altogether.

This is a photo of the dining room wearing the
lovely green paint.
The kitchen looks much better now that it is
a calmer gray, too.
