figured out that there are 207 calories, if 16 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the
specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)
If you love lemon
bars, then this may be something you might want to try. Orange bars, like
lemon, are refreshing and a sweet surprise. I thought these bars were great. I
took some to Barnetts, and the others went to the library for the knitting
group as well as the library staff. I had a very positive response for these
bars. Way to go, Ree!
sugar,
and kosher salt to a bowl.
The final ingredient in the crust is to add
in the butter cubes, and then use a pastry
cutter until the crust looks like crumbs.
I was almost ready to put it in a pan.
I used my fingers to press the crust into the pan,
and then bake it until golden.
To make the filling you need to add sugar,
and flour into a bowl.
I added in the eggs and used my whisk to stir it together.
I took the zest and juice from the oranges
and added it into filling bowl.
After I stirred the filling mixture together, I
poured it over the crust and baked it.
This is the final product. I did sift powdered
sugar over the bars prior to serving.
Mmmmmmm Good!
